Smart LED strip lights are the next big thing in my mind when it comes to DIY lighting. It is probably something that most people wouldn't have dreamed of even 10 years ago. However, with the introduction of cheap and easy-to-use devices like  Arduino and cheap smart LED strip lights, these smart lights are fast becoming a solid choice for under-cabinet illumination in kitchens or hobbyists who want to build their own geeky projects.
